Some people like to get up early and exercise before starting their day. While others prefer to wait and exercise in the afternoon or evening while browsing Buy lgd-4033. But if the time you exercise will affect the speed you increase muscle mass? Or is it better to exercise in the morning or evening?
Research conducted in 2009 by a team of researchers based at the University in Finland stated that the afternoon is the best time to exercise. In a very simple experiment, the researchers gathered a group of young men and told them to exercise in the morning or evening for a total of ten weeks. The morning group exercises between 7 am and 9 am, while the evening group does it between 5 pm and 7 pm. Both groups follow the same program, which involves lifting weights two to three times a week.
Although the difference in muscle growth was not very significant, subjects who exercised at night saw results that their muscles grew faster than those who exercised in the morning. The night group managed to increase the size of their thigh muscles, on average, 30 percent more than their counterparts in the morning group.
A follow-up study, which lasted six months showed similar results. Men who exercise in the morning see their quadriceps grow an average of 12 percent. But people who exercise in the afternoon see their thighs grow 50 percent faster. In other words, exercising at night causes a greater increase in muscle mass compared to the same program that is done in the morning.
In other words, an exercise in the morning can provide optimal muscle formation stimulus for some people, but not for others. Muscle strength is also predicted to be at a low point in the morning and gradually increases until it reaches its peak in the afternoon. Your body temperature is also at its peak when in the afternoon which affects muscle growth.
However, keep in mind that not everyone can exercise in the afternoon. Therefore, the most appropriate time for your exercise is the time that suits you best.
